    2007 BlackLight Events

    May 17th & 18th, 2008 - Fledgling Scenarios, Red Mars - Victory!
        BlackLight Company played in the fourth Fledgling Scenarios game in Colorado, under Jason "Wedge" Fullmer.  Fighting to terraform Mars, and make a safe colony for the residents of Earth, the "Greens" fought for the legal right to make Mars habitable without special bubbles, domes, and tunnels.  This game was also a way to bring to light the Mars Drive project, enlightening the world at large to the current frontier.

         This was also BlackLight's first deployment of the BLC 34 tank, pictured below. Despite some minor mechanical issues, this tank helped dominate the field many times throughout the day.  BlackLight also fielded the well-known QuickStrike tank, seen at many games before.  It was announced that

    April 5th, 2008 - Blacklight takes 1st and 2nd Place
        Blacklight fielded two separate teams at the SPPL-Affiliate tournament, Tri-Wars III.  Some of the teams that competed were:

    4/12/2008 - Air Force Academy Game
         BlackLight Company played for the Allies at another great day sponsored by the USAFA.

    August 25th & 26th, 2007 - Lost Lakes at Agate

    Just another awesome weekend at Fledgling Scenarios!  Commanded by Indiana Jones (Mad Ivan), Blacklight was part of the victorious forces against Professor Beloch (Spiro).

    December 17th, 2006 - Charity Event Success!
        The BlackLight Company Charity Event went over with large success. There were 36 of Colorado's finest players in attendance from  both sides of the paintball spectrum showing their support. This event merged the two sides (Speedball and Woodsball) together with nothing but great things coming from it. The P.A.R.C. had donated their facility for this event which made everything possible for this to happen. Along with the great prizes from places like Stiffi, DMC Paintball, A.P.E. , Q-Loader, and Tippmann Pros, the P.A.R.C. tossed in a full Smart Parts Freak Kit at the last minute.

        As if we couldn't have gotten any better prizes, Crown Trophies of Aurora donated not one trophy, but 3 trophies per team. Since the team was a lottery draw type, the possibility of playing with your own team was low. They saw it as a great way for each person to take something home from the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd placing team they played in the charity event with. Hats off to Crown Trophies for that!
        At the end of the day, the event alone (we still have an online raffle going as well), had raised $2026.00 for the victim. Without the overwhelming support of players and donating businesses this would not be possible. We thank each and every one of you for the help you have given this woman by participating in the event. For those of you who were unable to attend, you can still make donations via paypal, or even enter into the Special Ops Paintball Custom Vest raffle. All details can be found in our forums.
     On a side note, CBS4 Denver had a great story on the event that aired 12-16-06 and can be found here;
