As a team we understand that there are many enthusiastic players out there, however BlackLight Company seeks out specific individuals who can help to further what the team stands for, and aims to achieve in the future. We only give the BlackLight Company patch to those who we as a team consider fit for wearing our logo, and positively representing BlackLight Company as a whole. With that said, below are some frequently asked questions as to how a person can join our team. “How can I join BlackLight Company?” Joining BlackLight Company is not difficult, but it is not as simple as filling out an application either. As you may already know, we continue to build this team based on the principles of friendship, comradery, sportsmanship, honesty, and integrity. With a simple “fill-out-an-application” type process BlackLight Company can not fully assess the character of the potential member which can compromise our foundation for this team. Here at BlackLight Company we do not take applications, or actively recruit new members, but we always have room on our roster for those stand-up individuals who posses specific characteristics we look for in a team member. “So, if there is no application process, or active recruiting, how do I join?” The very first step is to start showing up to games where BlackLight Company is present, if you don’t attend games where BlackLight Company is, then we are not aware of you as a player, or a potential new member. The only way to really join BlackLight Company is to show us what you have got, both on and off the field. We focus more on the specific characteristics that build a successful team, and the maturity of a player rather than their level of skill. “If I attend games where BlackLight Company is present how will I know if I am a potential new member?” The best way to do this is to respectively approach any member of BlackLight Company and express your interest in joining the team. You need only express your interest one or two times, but do not continue to bother us about joining. Be patient as the actual process of joining BlackLight Company can take some time, but just keep being the stand-up player on and off the field and your time will come. “Say that I receive an invite to join BlackLight Company, what are the team requirements, if any?” The full team member requirements can be found under the “Intel” section of our website.
